Bright-line Brown-eye moth caterpillar: 1 found under a spinach leaf at Treshnish veggie garden, is being reared and entered soil presumably to pupate on 10 October

Great Northern Diver (floating on the sea in front of the farm house-Wednesday)

Red Grouse (up on the hill behind West Cottage, close to the big cairn on the to- Male heard him calling before i saw him-Monday)
Golden Eagle (on the rocks in front of West Cottage, saw it Monday and Thursday morning - Thursday was mobbed by two ravens)
Peregrine (cliffs above port Haunn strafing the starlings)
Merlin (flying past the farm house at Treshnish, towards public road- Lovely little male and pipits)
Hen Harrier (all over the peninsula, must have seen her 10-15 times during the week. Hen Harrier was the same female each time -white bar over her rump, floating flight- and was working an area between the Farm house, the big hill at the western end of Treshnish over looking the sea and the Hill with the trig point behind the farm)
Little Auk (a way out to sea, but was stretching its neck as L A’s do, so 90%)
Black-headed Gull (two floating on the breeze at the bay South of West Cottage-Heads were in winter white)
Rook (on the road to Calgary flying along the cliff to the left-Wednesday- grey crop obvious so pretty sure)
Fieldfare (2 or 3, telegraph wires on the way to Calgary. I also saw a flock of about 30+ Redwings down at Grass point near Craignure)
