Bird and Plant Notes, April 2009
A new plant for the Treshnish list is Gorse to north of Toechtamhor! I must have walked past this clump hundreds of times. Another noted this winter were the Snowdrops in Treshnish wood but presumably this has been introduced.
By 11th April ‘Brèagha’ one of the two satellite tagged 2008 chicks of White-tailed Eagles from Loch Frisa had moved north onto Skye. It had returned to Mull by the 14th.
