White-tailed Eagle: 1 juvenile, possibly second winter, with peach or dull orange coloured wing tag on right wing, north of Torloisk House, flying eastwards from Carn Mòr to Beinn na Cille at 16.30 (NM4048-4148). Binoculars only

Redwing: at least one in a flock of about 30 thrushes by Ensay Burn in Treshnish Wood. The whole flock could have been Redwing and flocks seen from October 12 onwards probably contained this species
Northern Wheatear: 1 at Langamull (Barry Prater & Barbara Rodgers on www.mullbirds.com)

Starling: about 10 roosting in the low-lying area below Haunn cottages about 15 minutes after sunset. There were also some in the roost cave at Treshnish Point, the twittering of birds inside the cave could be heard
